It would be fun to watch, but AS management top down thinks there is ZERO chance we will ever be released. They honestly believe it’s laughable, SW is actually laughing at you. They don’t think they have to do much in mediation, just show up and drag it out. No matter how little effort the put in, a release will never happen. Maybe they know something, maybe they paid for something, but they are laughing at the strike vote and expect zero shift in booking from it.
Well it’ll be an interesting litmus test, because, if WE can’t get released, then NOBODY is gonna get released, and I’d think ALPA can then make a case that the RLA no longer provides any meaningful usefulness for labor to negotiate….
