I don't have the breakdown of pilots that make it to 65, but I am sure it is a high percentage. I am sure it will be the same at 67. I remember interviewing at Pinnacle with a bunch of pilots that missed the last age change. It will play out the same way, 401k is way down, inflation, why retire when I am making 300k with 6 weeks vacation, etc.... Lather, rinse and repeat. Pilot career never changes, nor do pilots. Plus I am pretty sure we are already in a recession. Seems like more and more people are getting laid off outside of aviation.
