The same way that I’m not special when I’m booked on a ticket that puts me in boarding group 3. Pre boarding in that circumstance is 100% at the whim of the gate agent. I think it’s ridiculous but it isn’t a policy change, it’s a gate agent following the policy that’s been in effect all along. This is pretty simple actually. If you guys have a problem with your DH boarding priority, take it up with your union. If you don’t have a union, vote one in.
