You're not quoting the entire CBA paragraph.

"Crew Position" is not "any wide body seat." It is a specific seat in a specific domicile.

If you take the definition of Crew Position and put it in that paragraph, this is how it reads:

If, through the application of Section 24.F.6.c., a junior pilot is activated into a higher paying specific crew seat, in a specific aircraft type, at a specific domicile for which a senior pilot(s) did not have the opportunity to bid, the eligible senior pilot(s) shall be eligible for New Hire Junior Activation Compensation.

I'm not saying that this is how it's being implemented now (even though people I've talked to said it has been in the past), but it is definitely how the CBA reads.

Maybe Viper Driver would tell us how he generally bid (where he had 757 in his list compared to other seats).
