Yup. I'm usually healthy and always very fit, both strength and cardio.
But I'm one of those people who can be 20 pounds heavy and still do a 10k under an hour, so sometimes I get busy, eat and drink too much and put on weight. I'll lose it eventually, and even though my athletic ability doesn't really suffer, I feel MUCH better with the pounds off. I'm trying to stop the cycling as I get older, and just feel good all the time. Try it, it's great.
