because if B6 saw value in any of those cities they would have focused there. They didn’t. not sure why anyone doesn’t see this. Of course a combined company wouldn’t be able to be all east coast. Hell the government won’t come close to allowing that. They’d have to put the planes somewhere. To assume they would even want a crew base in any of those cities,
any any of our cities is just that, an assumption.
It’s tiring hearing to some extent JetBlue wants This to expand, and gain planes and pilots. This does accomplish that but that’s just a means to an end. We’ve expanded rapidly and organically. They could have done the same. They could have experimented with the Latrobes, Myrtles of the world. They saw the potential F9/NK marriage as a real threat and last minute decided to throw their weight behind blocking it, but trying to sell it as a great deal and benefit to all. All under the guise of ‘we’ve just wanted to expand all along’
