You still are underplaying how damaging that "solution" is to the executive team. There will be penalties for losing revenue in a growth market. You continually hand wave it away like these guys are invincible. They're not.
I’d agree, IF we were the only airline cutting block hours due to staffing (and not just because of pilots). Reality is, other airlines are doing the same. It’s a problem if it happens only to one airline. When a problem is happening at other airlines too, then it’s less company specific and easier to justify a longer term fix.
