I've also been interested in Frontier from the beginning since they seem to fly to vacations spots which sounds a lot more fun than some of the other places airlines fly too.
I wouldn't base anything on spots flown. ULCC is all about red eyes and turns. I could be wrong but I think any long overnights on the beach go real senior. Detroit overnights might be more of a reality early on. You are actually more likely to be able to bid desirable overnights with AA once building some seniority. ATL will take some time to hold with Frontier as well. If you have offers at both, Frontier is more fiscally secure than AA so take that into consideration. If you don't have offers at both - then apply and add Delta to that list and decide once you have 3 offers in hand.
