Alaska’s upgrade time is going to start increasing significantly over this current bid and the ones that follow, as the Airbus pilots transition. The 4.5 year captains in Seattle, many of whom haven’t even been trained will lose their spots. I’d guess by the time it all shakes out junior captain will be 6-7 years.
