Working 16 days and getting 140 TFP as an FO vs getting 10% more pay as a captain working 15 days on reserve might be worth it for the flexibility, weekends off, holidays off.
I thought you worked for Espirit.

Prob working working at least part of the weekend, but if you’re doing 180-200…you’re working weekends anyway. With 20-25% rsv coverage, vast majority of trips mid week are going to rsv and yes, they’re taking them as EF or straight to keep the credit coming.
As far as vacation, one man’s trash is another’s treasure. Someone does wants a Feb week for a June…or just burn a sick call at CA pay.
Maybe they can’t hold a 1st class medical…who knows. I know I didn’t sign up for 6 days off a month…even if you get to brag you made $400k as a FO.
Oh for sure. When I do 150 its never less than 15 days a month. And its always weekends if I ever get any sort of Premium. But juniority does that.
