So no matter what you call it, or what means you achieve it, you are taking from the whole of the AS pilot group by colluding with a minority of pilots for your own gains. And simultaneously helping the Company achieve their goals with staffing inefficiencies and industry lagging pay and work rules.
I see it a lot: post your trip P2P to “help a brother out” and you then hold out for Premium/VSA over the same dates. We should have a running list of the confederates who do this and cease working with them.
It’s no wonder there has been little to no sense of urgency by management to sincerely work with the ALA MEC.
Totally disagree. I got thrown a terrible contract, that I personally voted no on, and found a way to survive. I have summer vacations, holidays off. I don’t think I am carrying the company, we all are about maximizing, that’s just what I do. Everything I do is legal, why not work smarter.
Cartel, just a group of guys that take care of each other… The company is always bending and stealing, we all just choose to try and take it all back. I hurt no one, our future contract is based on economics 101, not pilot work habits. It’s lack of pilots, not even pilots leaving that finally have them at the table.
