Depends on when you get the “OK” on your schedule after IOE Checkride.
The new hire expanded guidance pdf does a good job of explaining that transition and has a few examples.
I ensure I go over that section with my mentees after they are done with their 44X
it is not a guarantee, but in almost every example I have seen, it causes at least one paycheck to be crazy low.
