I think you misunderstood me, or you're in denial of reality, so I'll try to clarify. I'm simply making the point that the Union's work is never done as there'll always be new or ongoing issues to address.

The pilots and the union, after the contract is signed, will not be happy with EVERYTHING in the contract. Negotiating capital will be spent to deal with the most pressing issues as identified by the pilot body, which means that there WILL be compromise on others. That's just a fact.

Going forward, the union will continue to listen to the pilots, and if they're doing their job, as I believe they are and will, they're gonna push management for continued improvements. It has little to do with the dictates of the last arbitrator. You can rant and rave all you want, but that's just the nature of the relationship between organised labor, and management.

The work will continue.
