Also not as popular is Africa and some of the 4 day in and out of atlanta shuttle type stuff but there isn’t too much of that. Europe is all 767 with the exception of Keflavik is 757. Some of the west coast and much of the atlanta shuttle stuff is 757. NYC has the best ER flying in the system by far, and it should be the last base to go away.

Also to note, your reserve call out is “2ish hours” (nothing set in stone but kind of a handshake understanding) to the CLOSEST nyc airport to you, regardless of whether your fleet does any flying out of that base. So if you’re on short call and they tell you that they want you to be at Kennedy in two hours you can say “I can get to Newark a lot faster but Kennedy I’ll do my best and let you know”.

Please trust me and sprint to the ER. It’s an entirely different airline. I didn’t understand what guys meant until I actually got on the fleet.
Great info! Thanks for explaining the 2 hr callout. I was concerned about sitting SCR at home if I can only do ER trips out of JFK(2-3 hours), while EWR is only 45 minutes away. That's a relief!
Are there good opportunities for open time pickup on the ER?
