A lot of guys at my company (myself included), DO in fact think that United is taking the CRJ700/E170 flying overboard. United EXPRESS flying ORD-BOI/YYC/YEG etc. is ridiculous. The Express arm should not be larger than the mainline.

Please remember though, we do not fly for SkyWest/Shuttle/Chautauqua so that we can "STEAL" your flying and ruin the industry. We do so because we cannot get hired at United or other major airlines with ZERO turbine time. We all have (and HAD, in your case) to start somewhere.

When I got on with my company, I had 1600 total, 300 multi. Apply to UAL with those times and they would have just laughed.

It's not US regional pilots (trying to get started in the industry) that are responsible for the RJ explosion. It is YOUR MANAGEMENT for allowing it in the first place. Take it out on Tilton.
