The point is until Indigo and Baldanza changed the company to a ULCC in the mid 2000’s, massive growth was never the focus. It’s like comparing McDonalds before Ray Croc to what it became after he changed the direction, it was happy to be a single store family run operation.

It’s not just about comparing a good growth period to a bad one, it’s a totally different company.
At no point I said it was a rudderless ship. NK had 39 years to get it's stuff together and JB had 22 before this point in time. Doesn't matter what NK chose to do at the time, growth is growth. The fellow pilot pointed to growth in NK prime time without any limits in his claim, why can't a JB pilot do the same? Balance the equation.

You said "it's not just about good growth to a bad one". That's exactly my point and everyone else point who commented on it. He can't just point to a growth period and say NK was superior on growth hence blah blah blah. You can go back and read what he said.
