The other guys may be making $20k for 17 days, but they fly 90 block hours in that time. My average for the last 2 years is 65 block hours a month and I average 19 to 20 days a month (2 of them are travel days). Upgrade in your second year is a real possibility if you have the 121 time show the ability. Now is a good time to come to WGA. A second year Captain makes $13K at 2 years for 17 days and you are probably flying under 60 block hours a month. For the next 4 years, the company is contractually obligated to contribute many millions of dollars a year to the employee stock ownership program. I don’t know if the amount is covered by a non disclosure agreement, so that why I am not disclosing the number.
