Why would you have to move to CLT? The DCA base is a good one with all the airplanes we fly out of EWR. Plus the weather is better, fewer ATC issues and definitely runs better operationally. More similar to CLT than EWR would be for you.
CLT has its issues as well, maybe not quite as bad as Sewark , but it gets close at times.
last time I was in CLT it was a shiddddd show , complete cluster F .
