If you are a low time pilot that is "lucky" enough to get hired this year, ask yourself how will you feel a year from now when you only added 200 to 300 hours to your logbook, while the "unlucky" pilot that did not get hired builds time faster, probably got paid better, and slept in his/her house every night.
Just something to consider.
I'm confused, is the "unlucky" pilot gaining seniority too? There are plenty of other jobs where you will be home every night (oh, and sit in traffic everyday). Let's keep it positive, for heaven's sake it's "Hump Day!"
