Its 90%+ hub2hub and Hawaii (you'll see some Europe / S.A. in open time periodically), and although the flying is a bit boring - there are minimal delays, and the vast majority of days only have 1 or 2 legs. Lots of DHs show up in Open Time too so you can deviate to/from your trip. Then, once you get some seniority, you can bid to a base with mostly Europe flying if you wish, and not have to go back to training. On the west coast it's almost exclusively non-augmented so you will get a flying seat on nearly every flight too so you can get proficient handling the jet.
What about 756 out of IAD? How long should a new hire expect to be in EWR on that fleet. I’ll be a east coast commuter, so the road to IAD in the short-term and IAH long term is ideal. SFO and LAX bases would be 2-leg commutes for me.
