Fine, I'll start the lanyard thread because I have a legit question:
Are we wearing specific lanyards now? I will gladly wear a unified lanyard, like the green ones of old, but I was honestly unaware that wearing an ALPA lanyard was "required" at any other time. (I wear my ALPA tie and pin.) I currently wear a bright Yellow and Black non-Spirit lanyard because doing so amuses me.
The second ALPA hands me one, or puts one in my V-file that I check every 3 months, to start a show of unity, ala "Not Discount Pilots" I will comply.
I proudly wear my ALPA boxers every trip. It has the “Not discount manhood” written across the front.
