I use the ALPA lanyard, but honesty have been thinking of getting rid of lanyards all together. Tired of it always dangling around my neck. I think the key to them working is that they need to make a strong statement, hence the strike ones you guys wore last time. I am all for using them for things like that, but I wouldn't judge someone for not using the basic ALPA one in day to day stuff.
Funny thing about guys that don’t wear the lanyard is that it’s the same guys with the North Face, same ones with the different shade pants, the same ones that don’t tip van drivers. Y’all seem to be your own club. Stick out like a sore thumb.
But you keep on doing you and I will keep on doing me and covering your van tips, showing up to picketing events after jumpseating in from a flyover state so I can support my fellow aviators.
