Wow how this thread has drifted! Its funny to read. Here's the thing. Nobody knows what, why or how the merger is going to play out. Everybody can speculate, but only the top players know. We are simply labor. Cogs in the wheel. Our job pays well, is fun, but the top players have MBAs and are compensated a lot more than us. Quit trying to pretend you have the insight and information to know what will, would or could happen. You're pilots.....
Second, the lanyards suck. They are big, wide, long, and the style is reserved for fast food workers and douchey kids keys. Just clip the thing on your pocket or epaulets. Wear the ALPA pin. Rant over. Good day all!
