Like the other guy here, I put my application in a couple weeks ago and haven't received a call. I exceed the requirements by a margin and have been receiving quick call back from other regionals (like a few hours). Anyone know what's up?
If you currently fly for any regional that operates any Eagle flights, don’t expect a call. (SkyWest, Republic, Mesa). The plan is to keep Eagle flights staffed and operating. Hiring from those regionals would jeopardize that performance (even though those airlines do fly for other carriers). Once AA can fully staff their WO then they can start taking planes away from OO, YX, & Mesa and bring them under the W/O carriers (and at that time, hire from those airlines).
