I'm rapidly talking myself out of considering 765 above 7ER if it's available. Are there any arguments for 765 that should keep it on the table for a commuter?

Well, you'll be on reserve on both for a bit (obviously longer on the 765). The trips and reports and layovers should be better on the 765. If you don't like the 765,I THINK you and bid down to the 7ER in 8 months with no training. Other peeps can verify this. So, kinda a no lose proposition. IMO
