there are way to many captains at 9E that are so concerned with dropping the brake and closing the door that we will never make a dent. I flew with plenty of guys that close the door before we get even the load sheet. I personally dont trust any of those Mesaba idiots that work the ramp in DTW/MSP to take numbers over the headset and thats assuming it works. I have tried over and over and have found plenty of reasons to keep the door open, but MOST of our skippers just say close it up so we can get out ontime...
I always ask "whose pocket are we filling by getting out ontime?" not the pilots... we just continue to help this management team get bonus after bonus, and what does it get us?
