By contrast, we actually complete the W/B on the laptops; the module takes inputs for bags, pax, weather, rw/sid etc and returns with V-Speeds, Flap and Trim Setting, Flex Temp etc. The Captain sends this info as an ACARS report as info-only to our SOC; every time I plug into JetBlue's computer network the info is down-loaded from my computer to a company server. Always interesting to learn how different companies skin the same cat.
