What I take from your statement is that if the union had accepted the proposal then I wouldn’t need to have my apps out right now because I can make a ****load of money this summer by picking up open time. I’m merely pointing out that’s not the case. Speaking on behalf of the 1st year new hires at this company, that proposal wouldn’t have done jack **** for us.

I am in a slightly better position than a vast majority of the other 1st years, and because of this, I don’t need to have my apps out; I can afford to stick around and wait for a better deal.
