Attrition has slowed, not stopped. But there have only been about 2 quit in the past month. Breeze is having trouble getting the FAA to do anything for them like Fed rides, add more cadre etc. Because of that, staffing is tight. I believe 4/6 fed rides on the 190 that had been back logged are completed. But the A220 is a mess with only 5 cadre pilots. Plus the company screwed up by pulling the 190 out of TPA before the Airbus was up and running smoothly. Now we have to cover A220 flights with the 190, but have only a few captains and no FO’s left in that base. Also a pay raise is needed, we all know that. In the middle of an ALPA vote the company can’t raise pay…
All airlines are having trouble getting the FAA to do rating rides for APD’s ect.. The FAA is swamped with all the training. Breeze has been in the works for a long time. They should have had their training cadre up to speed before the first revenue flight. Now they can wait like everyone else.
