The point is SWAPA is also in contentious contract negotiations. They just had a picketing event this week. They still took a deal to make extra money. The fact they already get paid more should mean they would be less inclined to take a short term deal, since they don't need the money... Whatever deal SWAPA made with management was a good deal in the eyes of their union. Our EXCO decided this deal wasn't good, and I'm sure they had a good reason, and it wasn't just to spite the company.
