I’m at QX and curious what to expect of air group. They said today they need just 60% or so of the pilots we have no by years end to staff the 33 E175s. Makes me nervous about coming to Alaska via pathways. (Still a year or so from that). Is Alaska gonna stop hiring/downsize soon too?
My gut tells me that QX will be 50% smaller than it is today one year from now. I think the Q400 will indeed go away by years end and the company will shrink to just 33 small jets.
I doubt they could staff any more than that a year from now.
