I wish the rumors were true. The rumors were a much better TA than this. Company and ALPA were far apart. It's obvious ALPA just gave up. Absolutely disgraceful to agree to this. $15 per hour is new minimum wage and that is rising fast. It's obvious to me, we are going to fall out of upper middle class. New hires will be living in much smaller houses in much worse areas than major airline pilots are normally accustomed to.
Never in my wildest nightmare did I think this TA would be this pathetic. Sounds like pilots are outraged across the system as they should be. While everybody else are negotiating hefty pay and benefit raises we wasted 4 yrs getting a pay cut. I'm going thru the 3 stages of ALPA BS Anger , disbelief, denial , emberassment. Make it 4 now.
