Kirby NEEDS a deal to staff the training department for his planned expansion. We WANT a new contract because we’re due. We might not like it, but we can wait a little longer for the right contract, where he needs to get a deal in place. All he wants to do is to staff the training department. This TA just let’s him do it cheap. Basically, the union told him no more LOA’s, and then turned around and signs off on what is basically just an LOA to staff the training department.
I agree with your sentiment, but i wouldnt vote NO counting on seeing another TA in 6 months. If you vote NO you should do so expecting to live under the current contract terms indefinitely. FWIW I'm still a NO vote and would rather have the current contract over the TA.

All that said, we need to get our asses in gear and act like union pilots....learn the contract and enforce its terms. I'm sure a lot of people who read my post have spent more time looking at the TA than they have looking at the contract we have now. We'll NEVER get a decent contract until we act like we want one.
