Honestly I don’t care. The current contract is light years ahead in terms of QOL and potentially pay (since PP trips will at minimum be reduced). For example this am on my BES as a IAH 737 CA 5 trips tomorrow starting before 10am have PP attached, every single trip after 10am is straight pay. A couple open PP trips/year and I make a 4% raise. If this POS passes I can show up at show time and be taken off my trip for any reason (it’s been moved to step 2 so even before going to a RSV or SRM) and no longer get 125% for abrogating my seniority.
That’s just a single example.
The answer won't change my vote, but it will give you a glimpse of the future...and how/if you need to rethink how you do your job or mentor newer pilots. Winter is coming IMO.
As far as protecting your ability to earn premium pay? I dont give a crap. THAT'S a big part of our problem. WE have shown the company that WE can fix their problems...its just a question of how much Add Pay. This TA is the fruit of that poisonous approach.
