As far as protecting your ability to earn premium pay? I dont give a crap. THAT'S a big part of out problem. WE have show the company that WE can fix their problems...its just a question of how much Add Pay. This TA is the fruit of that poisonous approach.
My point was now I can CHOSE if I want the pay or stay home for the current pay. My seniority matters. If you want the extra pay grab it. Want to fly your awarded line, do so. This one change makes basic lineholders into reserves the moment they show up. That is completely unacceptable. There are so many QOL gives in this thing that no amount of add pay makes it worth it.

In my 27 years at UAL the one thing that was always preached is NEVER GIVE UP QOL (or scope). It’s damn near impossible to get back. This TA gives up both.
