This I vs D question is asked constantly. In simplistic terms, it really only differentiates between extended overwater flying and not.
PHX trips largely mirror all the other NB categories. A mix of 1-5 day trips with 1-3 legs per day. Obviously there are some exceptions. Obviously a PHX trip is more likely to touch some destinations not as commonly seen by an east coast category. You probably won’t see the Caribbean often, just like a MIA pilot won’t see Hawaii.
