2 whole years of experience at Spirit ? Leave for JetBlue. You have nothing to loose yet. They are hiring. You’ll be a lot happier. Not being sarcastic here. If it’s so bad for you please leave. If you decide to stay I’ll still pay for your beers when you fly with me.
What does this mean? Pilot side, does business model matter at all to us (besides personal views of how successful a ULCC can be)? No matter who our partner is, someone is still changing manuals, planes are getting repainted and refitted, etc. But aside from that I don’t think NK B6 F9 fly much differently and as far as I know we don’t fly differently based on business model.

And why is there more leverage with ulccx2 vs JetBlue in negotiations? I don’t see any greater “advantage” to one or the other. Both require a jcba, and contrary to popular belief, the bigger pilot group doesn’t “control” the vote. The common theme among all 3 groups during this entire process has been for a great contract.
