Default For anyone who has flown the B1900...

I have a dumb question.

Why in the world does every Beech 1900D have white rotating (flashing) beacons? Every other beacon on every other airplane I have ever seen has been red. I have asked around quite a bit, but have yet to get an answer. Any Beech 1900 experts out there? My 1.7 hours in the airplane hardly qualifies me as an expert... anyone with a little more time in type than me care to chime in?

Does anyone know? Any good guesses? Any funny sarcastic answers?

Kansas... you know the answer right? Thanks buddy.
