The union has used the most favorable accounting method they can to come up with to get to 1.3 Billion dollars of value. That number doesn't take into account all the savings the company gets out of the TA that comes directly from us (say good by to most PP, new cheaper instructors, LCA pay by segment, no trip drops for WB FO currency, taking credit for a 5% pay raise we already have, etc) So even with that BS accounting that doesn't give you the actual dollars of benefit (if there are any), all they could come up with is 1.3B$. When the earnings come out and we made that much money in a quarter and that is without the revenue enhancements this TA is going to provide directly (increased GW on the 550) or going to facilitate in the form of allowing the training necessary to proceed with their United Next plan, or any of the savings mentioned above, even the most niave of pilot will realize they have been had, so they have to get this voting done before the earnings come out!!!
