Thats not the case anymore. The company adjusted their policy and made it much better with the vast majority of requests accepted. I’m a commuter and haven’t had a DH deviation denied in over 2 months. The last one that was denied was because there was a $500 difference. Quite a few trips have either one end or the other with a DH, so it’s nice for me anyhow.
