That’s a damn good question. If F9 ups their bid, B6 will follow suit likely…. Becomes more and more expensive…. If B6 has the votes to remove the board, they’ll likely do it. The lack of action means to me, speculating, that they don’t have a controlling vote…….yet.
Seems there is a difference between the major shareholders saying
“I won’t vote for the Frontier merger”
vs
“I won’t give voting proxy to JetBlue to take the company, we will negotiate the terms once the Frontier deal is dead”.
They don’t like the Frontier deal, doesn’t mean they are ready to give their voting control to Robin and Co at this juncture
