Looking for some clarification regarding Inverse Assignment with Conflict and how it applies to reserves. Basically, I was assigned a trip on the first day of a reserve block (roughly 24 hours prior to departure). Shortly following the assignment I picked up an IA beginning that day (the last X day prior to my assigned trip beginning). I know that a PB day and at least one day of premium is warranted, but should I receive credit for the entire conflicting trip? As a line holder 23.U is pretty straightforward, but the reserve application is clearly over my head. I’ve asked some folks and have gotten different answers from each. Any clarification is much appreciated.
