Looking for some clarification regarding Inverse Assignment with Conflict and how it applies to reserves. Basically, I was assigned a trip on the first day of a reserve block (roughly 24 hours prior to departure). Shortly following the assignment I picked up an IA beginning that day (the last X day prior to my assigned trip beginning). I know that a PB day and at least one day of premium is warranted, but should I receive credit for the entire conflicting trip? Reserves do not have a trip guarantee. Nor is there such a thing as an IA with conflict for reserves. Realistically you never should have been awarded the IA trip, but hey if they give it to you and you want it go for it. You'll get what you actually fly on your X day paid over reserve guarantee, and all the rest of the trip will pay towards whatever month's RES guarantee those days fall on. Trip credit pays towards whatever month the last day of the trip is on towards RES guarantee. You will get zero pay for the conflicting reserve assignment.
