Pros about Alaska is its a very stable legacy with fun domestic flying and a good growth projection almost doubling in size, I also live 15 minutes from LAX. Alaska measures growth by seat numbers, not airplane numbers, the Airbus is leaving quicker than the Max replacements are being delivered, so we are shrinking in the short term. I’m not sure where your information comes from regarding doubling in size but that is absolutely inaccurate information. Best of luck with your choice.
