Q-36. A flightcrew member is on days off. Can the company call him for a flight assignment?
A-36. Yes. If the flightcrew member answers the call, the company can assign him to flight duty. However, the company must give the flightcrew member the required 10- hour rest period and then place him on short-call reserve.
Q-37. Can a flightcrew member who is on days off voluntarily elect to pick up a trip from open time?
A-37. Yes. This is not prohibited by the regulation so long as the flightcrew member is rested, fit for duty, within applicable limits for duty and flight time, and prepared to perform the assigned duties.
If that doesn’t work:” sorry, drinking beer, thought is was for an X list for tomorrow.” (I list for the whole month for both X and Y (currently not for Y) before the first, and have since XY started. Never had anyone tell me I could only list for the days I was actually available.)
No worries mahhhn….spirit ain’t gonna call. They staffed the airline….look at the zero cancels and reserve grids. Lowest paid for the next 9 years. Newest 108xxx numbers out of training volunteering for OT bc they make 56 an hour and are lowest on the X list totem poll. They get the call first. Enjoy!!!! Lowest paid a320 for your life time. Wait till the Australians sign up for the xlist and “steal your overtime”
