They have effectively said that they know the TA is a bust, and are needing to start over. But wait, I was told, by VERY reliable sources, that if we only changed the name above the door to ALPA, that it would rain gumdrops and cash, and that our next contract would include free Disney cruises annually. Oh, that and we would surely be able to talk ALPA national into lowering dues, y’know, because we’re such a big and important pilot group, and all that. My reality is shattered.
