Once the membership starts going after the weak-kneed council chairs and vice chairs Hamilton will have to decide to if he's going to resign and face mild embarrassment, or be recalled and face major embarrassment. The NC Chair should be recalled at this next special meeting. If NOT, then the membership has to rally and force the local council reps to fish or cut bait. The power of ALPA lies in the members.
Some members feel "I pay dues, why do I need to also pay attention." Well, you do pay dues, but that doesn't guarantee an outcome.
The keybaord warriors are militant and that level of militancy will fester and grow. They will start their own movement at the grass roots level. It will take time, but they can do it faster than ALPA can respond. They are not hamstrung like ALPA is. ALPA has a lot of restrictions in COMMS and really can't afford to go after members who are rocking the boat. That would be perceived as anit-union activity.
What is best way to start SFO recalls when they are canceling all the meetings/roadshows?
