Our initial training used to be a disaster many years ago but it's really come a long way. Over the last 3-5 years I've heard practically no complaints from the newhires. All airline training is challenging but they give you every tool available and want you to succeed. The only issue is that we use the full European FCOM which can be a little confusing and very extra on the callouts. No other airline says "checked" to everything like we do and constantly talk over each other with extra callouts. Very few airlines read every FMA change like we do.
Now our every 6 month job interview? That's another story. Often it's like they are just making it hard on purpose. If only we had AQP.

As someone on probation, I feel that the schoolhouse instructors did a fantastic job. I’m really grateful to be at G4… although I got one foot out the door! Hoping G4 gets it together and becomes the airline that they should be (opposed to just a travel company)
