Quote: Same range but significantly less fuel burn than a 737-900ER, which was already significantly less fuel burn than the 757. Fuel burn is a big reason why the 757 has been relegated to a new mission as the state bird of Florida. I believe the MAX 10 combined with the 321NEO spells the end of the 757 as a large fleet. I think most will be retired except for 300s, NBA birds and maybe 10-15 more 75s for performance critical operations (BOG, SJO, TGU, SNA, etc etc)

Lots to look forward to on the 73 fleet. 800s getting scimitars, 29 more 900s, and then the MAX 10. Tons of opportunities for progression.
800s getting scimitars. How exciting!
