I don't think I will be complacent. I've been complaining about all of this stuff (scheduling committee, pairings, productivity, crew services, cost of living raises, broken promises, etc, since I was a jr FO and see no reason to change.....
The worst part is that I have written the letters, emails, meetings, etc., and nothing happens. I have tried the annual survey, year after year, and show me the money program to no avail. Even direct emails, but the lone voice is just not big enough to move the mountain. FNG
OK, not to sound flippint ( is that a word?) but have you ever tried to get involved as a part of the scheduling commitee? complaing and filling out the annual survey would seem to me to be the absolute minimum someone who cares would do. I know for a fact LGB was hunting desperatlely to get a replacement when the current rep needed to step down but nobody would pony-up. It always bothers me to hear people complain if they aren't willing to get involved.
